My name is Michael Rosola. I live in upstate New York and consult in technology and business management. I spend my time very intentionally indulging my curiosities and passing whimsies with a heart-felt passion and commitment to the pursuit of knowledge, quiet contemplation and refining my understanding of the All in the Hermetical sense. I am a generalist who finds their soul most satisfied working to unravel and marvel at the way that the underpinnings of the universe connect and rhyme at all levels. I am driven, at times perhaps tortured, to intensely chase down and overcome whatever passing question or challenge decides to take root and haunt me. My identity, for better or worse, is intimately woven from these motivations and so to both the dismay and endearment of my family and friends, I spend all of my free time researching, inventing, writing, tinkering, coding, welding, measuring, calculating, pondering, fabricating, experimenting, soldering, painting, growing, philosophizing, diagramming, decrypting and dissecting what is effectively nonsense.
This website is an attempt to capture for posterity a few of the things that have come out of all this that I am capable of articulating clearly and confidently enough to journal. My musings on more theoretical, philosophical, spiritual, political and psychological topics are typically, with humility, available for discussion only, so most of my blog consists of just “things”.
My life goal is to make a living solving difficult and absurd problems like those that I study and write about, so if you are hiring for such a position, have an impossible problem you need solved, or know of a good wizard’s tower that I may be able to live in as a recluse mad scientist, let me know!
