Just a little fun making some mugs, the first one was more comically large, the second is made from segments that required an interesting jig to taper them in both thickness and width over their length.
Revisited this in 2017 for a birthday gift for a friend, pretty happy with the results, particularly making it 7 sided, tapered and burned a humming bird into the bottom! Finish is black espresso stain with multiple coats of clear shellac over.
